Sonpat Copper Seal Inscription of Harshavardhana

        (There was) . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . the most devout worshipper of the Sun, the Mahârâja, the illustrious Râjyavardhana (I.) His son, [who meditated on] his feet, (was) the most devout worshipper of the Sun, the Mahârâja, the illustrious Âdityavardhana, [begotten] on the illustrious Mahâdêvî (?). His [son, who meditated on his feet, (was). . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . the most devout worshipper of the Sun, the Paramabhattâraka and Mahârâjâdhirâja, the glorious Prabhâkaravardhana, begotten on the Dêvî, [the illustrious] Mahâsênaguptâ,. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .(and) who was employed in regulating all the castes and stages of religious life. His son, who meditated on his feet, (was) the most devout follower of Sugata, the Paramabhattâraka and Mahârâjâdhirâja, the glorious Râjyavardhana (II.) begotten on . . . . . . . . . . . . . . the glorious Yashômatî.
